The Mountaineers Are Always Free Bill

As of Feb 18, 21 States have 10th Amendment Declarations of Sovereignty in some form in their legislature this session.  We hope to add WV to that list before too long.  One of the Monongalia County Delegation forwarded an early version of the Resolution to 'Bill Drafting.'

As the Federal Government has grown outside its Constitutional bounds, it is the States' responsibility to check that advance.

No politician, no lobby group, nothing short of We, the People declaring "thus far and no farther!"  will stem this incursion into our Liberties.

So please, download our Resolution and contact your representatives and tell them that you Support West Virginia Sovereignty.

Action and News

In this *.zip file are 5 things. One is the 10th Amendment Declaration, one is a list of States who have Sovereignty Legislation at some point in the process, another is an email I sent to the WV Legislature, and the last two are the email address and phone number (2 files) of every Legislator in WV.

I need you to write an email and send it to all of those people. If you have time: make a phone call too. You may use the email I wrote to get ideas if you need. In your email explain how important it is that they help this Resolution along. Attach the 10A Dec, and the list of States. Plug the web address: www.WVsovereignty.info as well.

We have it that our past work has paid off, and it will be Introduced.  We need to keep up and let our Reps know how important this is.

We have recieved endorsements from the WV Constitution Party and the Monongalia County Republican Executive Committee; plus 2 statements of support from Legislators, all within one week!

Is this Secession?

 In a word, NO, it is not secession.

We believe that the Constitution is a contract between We, the People and our servant government.  We believe contracts should be lived up to; and that if one party breaks a contract, reparations must be made.

We are not a secessionist movement, we are a populist and republican (read: republic, not the party, although many of our members are Republicans) one.

At it's heart, this Bill is about preserving the Union, as it was mean to be, under the US Constitution.
